My name is Jarrett Brunk. I am 25 years old and was born and raised in Orlando, Fl. After high school and a failed attempt to play college football, I enlisted in the United States Army and served four as a Combat Medic/ Healthcare Specialist until I decided I was ready to start my academic journey. I did two years at Tallahassee Community College before transferring to Florida State University this Spring.
My technology knowledge is a bit spread. I have used quite a few different platforms over the years whether it was for school, military work, fun, or for my current job. I am familiar with word and powerpoint and am starting to use excel more and more. I use Canva on the daily for my current job as a leasing manager at The Enclaves to make flyers and posts in order to bring attention to our property.
My PLN is a bit spread across the board. From my time in the service, my platoon leaders, and company/ unit command filled my work PLN and we used spaces such as labs, fields, and the gym as places of professional development. Now that I am in school, my tools consist of the library and other learning platforms. For work, I use Outlook and Teams to communicate with my coworkers in able to create a better work environment and to reach the goal of filling our units.
